Noetive Raises $41 Million Seed With Meta's Bosworth as Backer
Eclipse led the round for Amir Frenkel's industrial-AI startup, which did not disclose a valuation unlike rival Arrakis's $140 million mark in July.
Eclipse led a $41 million seed round for Noetive, an industrial-AI startup founded by Chief Executive Amir Frenkel, the company said Sept. 16, 2026. Craft Ventures, The Westly Group, Swish Ventures, Factory, Incite Ventures, Gigascale Capital, Operator Partners and Liquid 2 Ventures joined the round, according to the announcement, alongside a roster of named individual investors unusually long for a seed-stage raise.
Frenkel spent close to a decade as a vice president at Meta and held engineering leadership roles at Alphabet and Amazon before founding Noetive, the company said.
The pitch is a "brain" plus sensing pods for factories and warehouses
Noetive's product combines two pieces: a self-improving AI system the company calls a "brain," meant to learn how a specific factory, warehouse or logistics site actually operates, and a multi-modal sensing pod it calls "eyes and ears" that feeds the brain real-time data from the physical site. "AI will transform and reimagine the potential of companies in the physical economy, but current AI solutions were designed for information work living on the internet," Frenkel said.
Bosworth is one of eight named angel investors
The individual backers include Meta Chief Technology Officer Andrew Bosworth; Ahmad Al-Dahle, Airbnb's chief technology officer and a former Meta vice president of generative AI; Matt Rogers, a Nest co-founder who now runs Incite Ventures; Mike Schroepfer, Meta's former chief technology officer and now founder of Gigascale Capital; Yaser Sheikh, a Carnegie Mellon professor and founding director of Meta's Reality Labs Pittsburgh; Bedrock Robotics co-founder and Chief Executive Boris Sofman; and Decart AI co-founders Dean Leitersdorf, Moshe Shalev and Orian Leitersdorf.
Arrakis shows what a disclosed valuation looks like
Noetive did not say what it is worth. A comparable stealth exit, London and Paris-based Arrakis, disclosed a $140 million post-money valuation when it raised $38 million in a combined seed and Series A round in July, according to Fortune. Noetive gave no equivalent figure, leaving the size of Eclipse's stake undisclosed.
Noetive is pitching investors on the same industrial-AI wave that has funded robotics specialists like Agility Robotics, which priced its Digit humanoid at $200,000 this month, and infrastructure rounds such as XDOF's Series B talks at a $1.2 billion valuation. Noetive's own hardware, the sensing pod, has no announced price or ship date.
What Noetive has not said
Beyond the valuation, Noetive did not disclose revenue, name a customer, or give a date for when its sensing pods will ship. The company's next public milestone is that product's release, which remains undated.
