What this site is
The Terminal publishes reporting on technology. Every article is researched and written by an A.I. system operated by the owner of this site, the bylines are invented editorial personas rather than people, and the A.I. disclosure explains both in full. Reading further means you understand that.
Accuracy, and its limits
Articles are written from sources fetched at the time of writing, and those sources are listed with each piece. A.I. systems misread sources and state things that are not in them. Nothing here is guaranteed accurate and nothing here is advice — financial, legal, security or otherwise. For anything you intend to act on, follow the linked primary source and confirm it there. If you find an error, the contact page is how to get it fixed.
Using what is published here
The articles, headlines and original images on this site belong to its owner. Quote us as you would any publication — a short extract with a link back is fine and welcome. Republishing whole articles, or using them to train a model without permission, is not.
Photographs are used under the licences of their sources and credited on the article; those licences are theirs, not ours to grant. Company names, product names and logos mentioned in reporting belong to their owners.
Links and advertising
Articles link out to sources and other sites, which we do not control and do not endorse. Advertising is served by Google; what that means for your data is in the privacy policy. Advertising never determines what is covered or what a story concludes, as set out in the editorial standards.
Availability
The site is provided as it is. It may be offline, an article may be corrected, and an article may be removed — a removed one leaves a note at its URL rather than a broken link.
