Clinics On Cloud Raises ₹120 Crore From Model42, and the Three Reports Disagree on Who Led
The Pune maker of health ATMs puts its valuation at ₹600 crore after eight bootstrapped years, with 3,500 deployments as the only traction figure on offer.
Clinics On Cloud, a Pune company that builds kiosk-style health ATMs and box clinics, has raised ₹120 crore in a Series A at a ₹600 crore valuation, according to Inc42, which reported the round on November 3. None of the three reports we could read says whether ₹600 crore is a pre-money or post-money figure, and that single word moves the stake sold by more than three percentage points.
If the valuation is post-money, ₹120 crore buys 20% of the company. If it is pre-money, the same cheque buys about 16.7%, because the investors would be paying into a company worth ₹720 crore afterwards. The round was reported as raised, not as a term sheet, but no filing has been cited by any outlet.
Who put in the money
The investor is Model42, which Entrackr describes as Dubai-based investors "powered by Enlightened Minds Investments". Inc42 calls Model42 the medtech-focused investment arm of the UAE-based firm. Digital Health News names three co-founders of Model42: Timur Kudratov of Enlightened Minds Investments, Dr. Aida Sheikhaliyeva, and Dr. Raees Tonse, founder and chief executive of NAZR Ventures.
None of the three says Model42 led the round, and none lists a co-investor. Whether anyone else wrote a cheque is therefore unreported, not ruled out.

What the company sells, and the one traction number
Clinics On Cloud was founded in 2018 by Abhay Agarwal and Manashrri Agarwal. Its products are Health ATMs, Health Lounges, Box Clinics and Mobile Medical Units, which run preventive screening, AI-assisted health insights and telemedicine consultations. Customers listed by Entrackr include government health centres, hospitals, corporate campuses and the Indian Army, Navy and Border Security Force.
The traction claim is 3,500 deployments and more than 12 million screenings across eight countries, per Entrackr. Inc42 says the deployments span 200 cities in India and seven other countries. Divide one by the other and the average deployment has run roughly 3,400 screenings over the company's life, a rough figure that treats every deployment as equally old and still active, which the reports do not say.
No outlet gives revenue, margins, or the price of a Health ATM. A hardware-plus-service business at this stage is normally judged on whether a deployed unit keeps producing screenings and fees after the first order, and that is the number missing here.
Eight years without outside money
Digital Health News describes the company's first eight years as bootstrapped and mentions no earlier external round. That makes ₹600 crore the first price any investor has put on the business, so there is no prior round to compare it against. Our coverage of Atomberg's SEBI approval and Prosus's Navi investment shows the same pattern in Indian deals: headline figures travel before the filings that define them.
Agarwal is quoted in two places. To Inc42 he said "quality healthcare should never depend on someone's pincode." To Digital Health News he said "Our ambition is to build the infrastructure layer for the global microclinic economy." Neither quote contains a revenue or unit-economics figure.
Where the money goes
Entrackr lists the uses as AI-led healthcare capabilities, research and development, growing a connected microclinic network, and international expansion with the UAE as hub. Inc42 adds manufacturing capacity and partnerships with healthcare providers. Africa, the United States and Southeast Asia are named as markets to explore.
The reporting dates also differ. The Digital Health News page carries an update stamp of October 27, six days before Inc42's report, so the round was visible before the November 2 and 3 write-ups. The next observable test is a Registrar of Companies filing, which would settle the pre- or post-money question, the number of shares issued and whether Model42 sits alone on the cap table.
