Apple HomeView Spec Sheet: A18 Chip, 7-Inch Display, November 13 Launch and No Listed Price
Apple's page lists a 12MP camera, four microphones and a 500-nit screen, but leaves out price and dimensions, and the 7-inch panel is larger than the 6-inch one Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported.

Apple's HomeView page lists an A18 chip, a 7-inch Liquid Retina display, a 12MP Center Stage camera and four beamforming microphones, with a launch on November 13, but it does not give a price. Apple's page shows pre-orders open now.
The number that matters here is the power cord. Apple's page says wired power is required, and no battery is listed. That makes HomeView a fixed appliance, and it frames the 500-nit peak brightness and the A18: a plugged-in screen has no battery budget to protect.
The spec sheet
| Item | What Apple's page says |
|---|---|
| Chip | A18 |
| Display | 7-inch Liquid Retina, True Tone, 500 to 0.3 nits |
| Camera | 12MP Center Stage |
| Microphones | Four, beamforming |
| Audio | Two full-range drivers, down-firing woofer, two passive radiators |
| Price and dimensions | Not listed |
Apple's page says the 7-inch figure is about 6.98 inches measured diagonally with rounded corners. Colours are Silver, Starlight, Rose Pink and Space Gray, with a wall-mounted version in Space Gray and Silver only. A USB-C cable and power adapter come with the base model.
Display size: reported 6, announced 7
MacRumors summarised Bloomberg's Mark Gurman's September report as a 6-inch square display, an iMac G4-style design with a single FaceTime camera, and microphones and speakers in the base. Apple's page describes a 7-inch display. Gurman's other pre-announcement claims hold up against the page on the A18, the four colours and the wall-mount option. The MacRumors page carries "Pre-Order Now, Launches Nov 13" and no price either.

Gurman's comparison point for sound was the new HomePod mini, shown above, and MacRumors relays his claim that HomeView will sound better. The page does not publish a frequency response or a sound-pressure figure, so the claim is a reporter's, not a measurement.
What the software does and does not do
Siri AI ships in beta with HomeView software 27.2, in English to start, and Apple's page says usage limits may apply. The device uses its sensors for computational audio and can detect smoke and carbon monoxide alarm sounds. It works with HomeKit and Matter accessories sold separately. Personal content needs a paired iPhone or iPad on the same Wi-Fi network.
Bluetooth is not mentioned on Apple's page. MacRumors reports there is no App Store and a limited set of Apple apps; its headlines mention 15 supported apps, a figure the page itself does not detail, so we do not rely on it.
Apple has shipped other on-device claims without numbers; see our reports on Apple Minions and idle Mac GPUs and the C2 modem. We have not used the device. Everything above is Apple's own listing or a reporter's claim, and none of it is a test result.
The first hard data point is November 13. Price, dimensions and the real-world behaviour of a beta voice assistant on an A18 all arrive with the first units.
