MIND Raises $72M Series B, Sources Peg It at $300M
Crosspoint Capital led the round for the two-year-old data-loss-prevention startup, whose own announcement carries no valuation at all.

MIND raised $72 million in a Series B round led by Crosspoint Capital Partners, the Seattle-based data-security startup said in an announcement carried Sept. 17, 2026. YL Ventures and Paladin Capital Group, which had backed earlier rounds, returned as participants. The release states an amount and a lead investor. It does not state a valuation.
That number came from elsewhere. CTech, the technology arm of Israeli outlet Calcalist, reported the round values MIND at $300 million, roughly triple its prior valuation, citing company sources rather than the announcement itself. Chief Executive Eran Barak told the outlet the company had turned down larger offers to keep the valuation "aligned with actual company size," aiming for a $1 billion valuation and $100 million in revenue within two years.
What 30 times revenue means here
CTech put MIND's current annual revenue run rate at $10 million. Measured against the $300 million figure Calcalist reported, that is a multiple of roughly 30 times revenue, a level that only holds up if the 17-fold revenue growth MIND reported over the past year continues at anything close to that pace. PR Newswire's release confirms the 17-fold revenue growth and an eightfold increase in customers, but, consistent with the missing valuation, does not give the dollar base those multiples are measured from.
| Round | Amount | Date | Lead investor |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seed | $11 million | October 2024 | YL Ventures |
| Series A | $30 million | June 2025 | Paladin Capital Group, Crosspoint Capital |
| Series B | $72 million | Sept. 17, 2026 | Crosspoint Capital Partners |
MIND's total raised now stands at $112 million in under two years, according to SiliconANGLE's reporting on the round. That pace of follow-on financing, three rounds in 23 months, is closer to the compressed funding cycle behind Unitree's run-up to its own IPO than to a typical enterprise security company's timeline.
The founder's last exit set the price expectations
Barak previously founded Hexadite, a security-automation company Microsoft acquired in 2017 for a price reported at roughly $100 million. MIND's platform, which Barak described as built to find, classify and block sensitive data moving through SaaS apps, GenAI tools, endpoints and email, was designed explicitly around the AI workloads Hexadite's generation of tools did not have to handle. "DLP is a massive, established market, but it was not built with AI in mind," Barak said in the PR Newswire release.

MIND has also picked up institutional validation beyond the funding: it says it is the first data-security company accepted into Anthropic's Cyber Verification Program and the first in its category to earn ISO/IEC 42001 certification for AI management systems. Neither credential answers the question the announcement leaves open, which is what MIND is actually worth until a document more binding than a Calcalist source confirms it. MIND is one of several security and ops startups raising this kind of money to sell tools built around what AI systems do rather than what came before them, the same pitch behind Raindrop's Series A for catching AI agents when they fail. The next test is whether the $10 million run rate CTech cited multiplies fast enough to make a $1 billion valuation look ordinary rather than aspirational when MIND raises again.
