Hubble Network Raises $200 Million at $1.6 Billion With Six Satellites in Orbit
The Bluetooth-to-satellite startup wants 60 spacecraft by 2030 and says connectivity adds under 50 cents to a device's bill of materials, a company figure.
Hubble Network announced a $200 million Series C on Sept. 23 at a $1.6 billion valuation, led by Smith Point Capital, with six satellites in low Earth orbit and a plan for 60 by 2030. The company's release says total funding is now $300 million. It does not say whether the round has closed in full, and it does not label the valuation pre-money or post-money.
Seraphim, Carthona Capital, Earthshot Ventures, Y Combinator and RPM Ventures also took part. Tech Funding News adds Pioneer Fund to that list.
The round against the last one
Tech Funding News reports the Series B closed in September 2025 at $70 million, bringing total funding to $100 million at that point, and describes the new valuation as more than double the previous one. The earlier valuation is not in the sources, so the step-up cannot be given as a multiple.
| Round | Date | Amount | Total raised |
|---|---|---|---|
| Series B | Sept. 2025 | $70 million | $100 million |
| Series C | Sept. 2026 | $200 million | $300 million |

Growing from 6 to 60 spacecraft means 54 launches and builds. If every dollar of the round went to them, which it will not, the ceiling would be about $3.7 million per added satellite. No per-satellite cost or launch contract appears in either source.
The satellites carry the company's pitch: a firmware update lets the Bluetooth LE radio already in a device send small messages to orbit. Hubble says that adds under 50 cents to the bill of materials, roughly one-tenth the cost of a cellular modem and one-fiftieth that of a satellite modem. Tech Funding News puts the usual satellite hardware at $25 or more. The 50-cent figure is the company's own, and no independent test is cited.
Traction: devices, not satellite revenue
Hubble reports 500,000 active devices, up tenfold in a year, on a terrestrial network of more than 100 million gateways across 170 countries. Against the $1.6 billion valuation that is about $3,200 per active device. The release gives no revenue figure and no split between devices on the terrestrial network and any using the satellites.
Samsara is the named customer. David Gal, Samsara's VP of Product and Engineering for Connected Equipment, is quoted as saying Hubble gives visibility "without adding new hardware." Tech Funding News describes Samsara as piloting the satellite service. Texas Instruments, InPlay, Reelables and Muon Space are listed as partners.
CEO Alex Haro, who founded the company with Ben Wild in 2021, said "when we said we'd connect Bluetooth chips to satellites, most of the industry said the physics wouldn't allow it." The company now has more than 70 employees.
Orders and units are different things, a gap the site found in its Agility Digit 5 coverage, and Destro AI's $8 million seed was at least tied to a named customer. Hubble has one named customer and a pilot.
The next observable event is the launch schedule for the next batch of satellites, which would show how fast the constellation grows from six.
