Apple Folds Apple TV and Arcade Into Every iCloud+ Plan

Apple has started bundling Apple TV and Apple Arcade into every paid iCloud+ plan, including the $0.99-a-month, 50-gigabyte entry tier, across more than 100 countries this month. The company said new subscribers in those markets can no longer buy Apple One, the pricier bundle iCloud+ is now displacing.

Apple announced the change on Sept. 15, 2026, in a post on its newsroom site localized for Mali, one of the countries in the rollout. Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Services and Health, said iCloud+ users "can now securely store and share personal content across their devices, enjoy the absolute best in original storytelling from Apple TV, and explore an incredible lineup of hundreds of games through Apple Arcade."

What the $0.99 tier now includes

Before this month, the 50-gigabyte iCloud+ plan bought only cloud storage. It now carries Apple TV's full film and series catalog and Apple Arcade's library of more than 200 games, at the same price, in the countries covered by the rollout. Family Sharing extends the storage and both services to up to five people on one subscription.

Some markets are also getting a new tier called Apple Music Select, a set of ad-free radio stations bundled into iCloud+. In Mali, Apple is pricing the upgrade from Select to a full Apple Music subscription at $1.79 a month for an individual plan and $2.29 a month for a family plan, both discounted from the service's standalone price.

Where it does and does not apply

The bundle is live or rolling out through September across more than 100 countries, including India, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Nigeria, Kenya and Mali. It does not apply in the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom or most of the rest of Europe, according to 9to5Mac, which tracked the rollout market by market.

Apple TV itself is expanding as part of the same push. The service is launching in 59 additional countries, taking its total reach to 170, up from 111 before this rollout.

Apple One's shrinking footprint

Apple One bundled iCloud storage with Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple Arcade for a single monthly price, aimed at customers who wanted everything at once. With Apple TV and Arcade now included in the cheapest iCloud+ tier in these markets, Apple One loses its main selling point there, and MacRumors reported that Apple has stopped accepting new Apple One sign-ups in the affected countries, while existing subscribers keep their current plans.

The move is one of several platform changes Apple has pushed through this month. It follows Apple's decision to make macOS 27 the final release to run Intel apps through Rosetta, and comes alongside changes buried in iOS 27's code pointing to Siri delegating requests to outside models. Apple's iCloud+ announcement did not say whether the Apple TV and Arcade bundle will eventually reach the United States or Europe, or what happens to Apple One there if it does.
